Festival Bar

Lounge at your leisure, drink at your pleasure, come be seduced by our comic treasure.

For this year's festival Bar 1861 will be transformed into an opulent Den courtesy of designer Livi Vaughan. Livi previously worked as designer on Punchdrunk's smash-hit success Masque of the Red Death at the BAC, which was undoubtedly the theatre event of 2007. The Corn Exchange wishes to thank Royal Bank of Scotland for supporting the design of The Den.

Seduced by our comic treasure…late night drinking, DJ's and music every night - and possibly even the odd improv slot!

Eating and Drinking

In town there's plenty of choice, we recommend The Square Bar & Grill and Le Petit Square.

Alternatively in the outlying villages there are several Michelin Star and AA rossette restaurants including The Vineyard, Marco Pierre White's Yew Tree, The Crab at Chieveley and The Hare in Hungerford; which will be great for an extra special lunch or dinner.

Also don't miss the exceptional Bangladeshi cuisine of New Greenham Tandoori (on site at New Greenham Arts) and The Corn Exchange's own café, Bola's Kitchen.
